The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines Brief Journalists on the Importance of Cold Chain for Food Safety and Food Quality
Manila, November 16, 2012 -- The U.S. Embassy's Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) teamed up with the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines (CCAP) to sponsor a media briefing on the importance of cold chain for maintaining food safety and food quality. Celebrity Chef and Chef Instructor Jill Sandique demonstrated what professional chefs learn about proper chilling, cooking and handling methods for a variety of food products, including meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, and ice cream.
